THE 2017 BAC HACKATHON

Tackling today's most pressing movement challenges calls for the combined efforts of Brisbane's most creative and innovative thinkers (that's you!). That's why we're hosting this year's BAC HACKATHON: to cultivate the solutions we need.

Over two days, teams will have the opportunity to bring an idea or solution to life with the help of some of the most passionate and accomplished minds. Furthermore, challengers have the opportunity to solve problems set by the hosts to win prizes.

WHAt is a hackathon?

Bring together Brisbane’s most creative and innovative thinkers to cultivate solutions to some of our most pressing movement challenges.

Over two days, teams will have the opportunity to bring an idea or solution to life with the help of some of the most passionate and accomplished minds.

Challengers have the opportunity to solve problems set by the hosts to win prizes.

what if i don't know how to code?

Don’t worry - we’ll have plenty of coding support at the hack, find them and get them on your team!

what if i don't have a team?

No problemo! Come on your own, we have selected an amazing crowd to be here and hack away.

what if i don't have an idea?

No worries! The best ideas come from solving real life problems. The exact problems and opportunities to solve are provided to you through our partners Brisbane Airport Corporation and JR Duty Free.
